The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) is a community of patients, caregivers, survivors, advocates, medical and research professionals united in support of people impacted by bladder cancer.
BCAN was founded in 2005 and is the only national advocacy organization devoted to advancing bladder cancer research and supporting those impacted by the disease.
BCAN has consistently advocated for greater public awareness and increased funding for research to identify effective treatments that improve the lives of patients and those who love them.
Each year, BCAN provides thousands of patients, caregivers and the medical community with the educational resources and support services they need to navigate their bladder cancer journeys. BCAN works collaboratively with the medical and research professionals who are dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer and empowers the patient community by allowing them to share experiences with others, and participate in building awareness of the need for a cure.
The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network Support Community connects patients, families, friends and caregivers for support and inspiration. This community is sponsored by the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, an Inspire trusted partner.
As the leading voice in bladder cancer, BCAN has created educational materials for patients, their families and caregivers as well as the medical community.
BCAN is on the front lines advocating for and funding research that will deliver cutting edge methods of diagnosing, treating and working toward a cure for bladder cancer.
